"Prepping for the Apocalypse"

Films: Gargoyles (1972)

Alias: None

Type: Mystical

Location: Cave/Civilized area

Height/Weight: That of average humans.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: Gargoyles are honestly the more dignified cousins of lawn gnomes, these days. But there's a reason they're revered in religion. Good or evil, they have that sort of influence on one's outlook.

History: After Satan was cast out of Heaven, his followers, the Gargoyles, pledged themselves to ridding the world of man. Centuries passed, and they failed so many times to the point where they became things of myth. But in a cavern in Arizona, there's a breeding pit being lorded over by an alpha Gargoyle and his mate, and they plan on raising enough to bring forth the end times.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: The entire spawn of the Gargoyles gets blown up via gasoline. After the female is injured, possibly mortally, the male swears that they will return to take over, and flies away, holding her.

Powers/Abilities: None

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 2.5-They certainly breed like rabbits, and they try to be scary, but it ultimately looks like someone bought some Halloween costumes and put them on. They're honestly a bit too cheesy to be intimidating.

Trivia: -On almost every day of making this film, the temperature went over 100 degrees. That's what you get for filming in Arid-zona.

-Gargoyle statues were made primarily to prevent rainwater from eroding at structures. As creatures of myth, they either ward off evil spirits, or represent true demons.

Graverobbing? Really?

"HI!"

"Alright. Let's make this as awkward as possible."

They're monsters, but they're not monsters.
